I Rosato, Garry
Crittenden 1999
A delicious savoury rose wine
made from the free-run juice of Italian grape varieties
such as Barbera and Nebbiolo. Garry Crittendens
winery is in the Mornington Peninsula in South Australia
and for this wine he uses Italian grapes grown under
his jurisdiction from the King Valley. Price: £6.45
Garry Crittenden
firmly believes the making of good wine depends largely
on producing the best possible results from the vineyard.
To achieve this, a moderate climate, together with
soils that are not too fertile, are essential. These
are characteristics that the Mornington Peninsula
abundantly provides and which are found at each of
the four vineyards in the region now under the control
of Dromana Estate Limited.
